FAQ
How long will therapy last?
We will work together to figure out a treatment plan that is right for you. It could be short-term, focusing on specific challenges, or long-term, diving deeper into the issue and offering ongoing support. The frequency of meetings usually starts out weekly or bi-weekly. We will check in regularly to see how therapy is going and adjust the plan accordingly.
How does out-of-network insurance benefit work?
I accept Aetna (NY and NJ), Anthem EAP-Bank of America, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of New York through Headway, which manages insurance claims. If you have a different insurance plan, I suggest verifying with your insurer regarding out-of-network coverage for behavioral health services. Typically, if you have out-of-network benefits, your insurance covers a specified percentage (e.g., 70%) of the provider's fee. In such cases, you would pay the provider upfront and receive reimbursement from your insurance later.
