  • Individual Psychotherapy

Therapy could be a powerful tool for navigating life’s challenges and finding strengths to move forward.

I work with youth (16+) and adults who are first and second-generation immigrants, young adults, women, international students, working professionals, and parents facing a range of challenges. Here are some concerns where I can help:

Feeling lost during life transition and adjustment

Struggling with family dynamics (especially within immigrant families)

Exploring identity, relationships, and family-of-origin issues

Feeling overwhelmed as a mother balancing work, family, and self-care

Dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma

    Managing immigration and acculturation distress

Managing uncertainty about your career path and work-related stress

    Experiencing racism and discrimination

Struggling with self-esteem, emotions, or eating

Seeking support on your spiritual journey

    Additional support

    • BIPOC & LGBTQIA+ affirming: I offer a safe and supportive space for you.

    • Asian American Mental Health: I understand specific challenges and have extensive clinical experience serving the Asian American community.

  • Treatment Sessions

    • Individual Therapy: Each individual therapy session is approximately 50 minutes, and it focuses on you and your goals.

    • Family session with parents/guardians (for minors): If you are under age 18, I will also meet with your parent/legal guardian for their consent. I can also meet with them separately to understand their perspective and work together to help with your treatment.

  • My Approach to Therapy

I use a blend of approaches, including understanding your cultural background (race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, social class, religion/spirituality) and past experiences that influence your present, developing coping skills and changing negative thought patterns, and empowering you to move towards self-acceptance and positive change.

Additionally, I offer bilingual therapy in Mandarin Chinese and English.
